Room checklist

Bathroom checklist

Use this page to create a practical task list for your bathroom. Record only what you can observe safely. Choose “unknown” when information is missing; uncertainty is a useful next step.

Five things to look at

Choose Observed, Needs follow-up or Unknown for each row. Nothing you choose is sent or saved, and it does not change the full checklist.

  1. Row 1: Look for recurring condensation, staining or an active leak in accessible areas.
  2. Row 2: Note available ventilation controls and instructions.
  3. Row 3: Record recurring maintenance issues without opening walls or electrical equipment.
  4. Row 4: If renting, note what should be reported to the property manager.
  5. Row 5: Keep dates of follow-up actions in your own records.

Nothing is pre-selected. Choose what you can observe safely; skip the rest.

What to do with your notes

Use the moisture guide to organize observations. Visible growth calls for attention to moisture and appropriate follow-up; a test does not repair the underlying condition.
